The Jets took Vladimir Ducasse in the 2nd round in 2010, taking a chance on his size, upside, and versatility. Ducaase has yet to establish himself as a starter at either guard or tackle, even with Wayne Hunter struggling mightily at right tackle last year. Ducasse was moved to right tackle this offseason and had been working with the 2nd team in OTAs. He was expected to push Hunter for a starting job this season.

However, that experiment seems to have been short lived. Ducaase has moved back to guard as the Jets have added veteran Ray Willis and Stephon Heyer at right tackle. ESPN New York says this was a clear sign of no confidence in Ducasse. As Ducasse changes positions once again, it’s fair to wonder if he’s on the roster bubble.

  1. Disappointed – thought there was news, but this is just about his filling in for the injured Slauson during OTAs again.

  2. everytime he goes in, sanchez ends up on his back,he will get his quarterback killed

  3. Simply a wasted second pick. Another Tananbaum mistake
