  1. Scherff is a solid pick for the Vikings. No question. But moving Kalil to guard is curious. No scout had him pegged as a possible guard in the NFL. Why would the Vikings move him there? They can try but it really does not seem like it will end any better. Scherff is the one who will likely slide into guard and if Kalil does not bounce back to his rookie form then Scherff can be moved outside.

All that said, Cooper is probably the better pick. Jennings is going to be 32 years old and is making 9 mil next year with an 11 mil cap hit. That is not a wise use of cap space. Patterson is still not ready but could do more next year. He better. After that there is not much besides Charles Johnson and Jarius Wright.

Even though receiver is risky in the first round, I see the Vikings trying to upgrade there first and then looking for a guard in the 2nd or 3rd round.

  2. I will give you 1 100% lock. The browns in no shape or fashion will pick a WR in round 1. Go to cleveland.com an read/watch Ray Farmers season ending presser, they go back to the board and take WR/TE of your lists

  3. I agree the Browns could use some weapons in the passing game but with Kyla Shanahan as the OC they’re going to be a run 1st team, that combined with how terrible the def front 7 was at both stopping the run and getting to the QB i the spend both 1st round picks on pass catchers

    • Yeah it depends what they do in free agency. I tried to give them a DT at 19, but there weren’t really worth that spot. I think they’re going to make a big run at Suh.

  4. The Cowboys cannot pass up a corner or safety with their first pick, even though they have several needs on defense. A SPEED RETURNER IN THE LAST ROUNDS IS A MUST.
