Kroy Biermann had an underrated season as a situational player in 2010. Though he had just 3 sacks, he had 35 pressures on just 630 snaps. ProFootballFocus actually ranked him 18^th in pass rushing among 4-3 defensive ends. He played fewer snaps in 2011 with Ray Edwards coming with 3 sacks and 16 pressures on 536 snaps. However, with John Abraham gone and Ray Edwards struggling, they almost had to resign Biermann, who can be a worst case scenario starter for them at defensive end. I just feel like they could have gotten him cheaper than 3 years, 12 million (3 million of which is through incentives), with 3 million guaranteed.
