You may have noticed a big change to my picks this year. For the first time ever, my medium confidence and higher picks (my recommended bets) will be behind a paywall. This was not an easy decision, but my wife and I are expecting a baby girl and I can no longer justify the amount of time I put into doing this for free. For those of you who don’t know, I have been doing this since I was 21 years old in 2013. It has never been my full-time job and I have never charged. I make no money off of this website (there aren’t even ads). The only money I make off this hobby is from consistently beating sportsbooks.
With about 95% of sports bettors losing money in the long run, I am proud to say I have covered the spread 57% rate over the 1,550 recommended bets I’ve made over these past 13 years. If you placed $100 on each of my recommended bets over that time, you would have netted about $12,500 of profit. The price for continuing to view my recommended bets is $29.99/ a month during the season or $99.99/ for the full year. I thank all paid subscribers for supporting me and my growing family.
I will still make a pick on every game and my picks that I don’t recommend betting on will still be free for those who follow me that do not gamble and only use my picks for casual pick ‘em leagues. My non-recommended bets are subject to change up until game time, but my recommended bets lock in when I place the bet with the sportsbook. Non-recommended bets may be upgraded to recommended bets depending on injuries and line changes, in which case they will go behind the paywall.
