New Orleans Saints (0-1) at Baltimore Ravens (1-0)

The Saints were an underrated team coming into the season, starting the season as 7-point underdogs in Detroit week 1, a game they nearly won, losing by 1 in overtime, losing the first down rate battle by -0.40, but winning the yards per play battle by +2.08%. This week, the Saints are underdogs of even more in Baltimore, with the Ravens favored by 8.5 points. The Ravens looked great week 1 and are probably a better team than the Lions, but they are thin at wide receiver this week, with both Zay Flowers and Ja’Kobi Lane, their top-2 wide receivers, expected to be out.

The Saints have injury concerns of their own, with a pair of injury prone key players, wide receiver Chris Olave and defensive end Chase Young, popping up on the injury report mid-week this week, but both are expected to play. Even with concerns about them, I think we are getting enough line value with the Saints this week, with my calculated line at Baltimore -6. If I was 100% confident about Olave and Young, the Saints would be a high confidence pick, but I still like the Saints enough at +8.5 for them to be a bettable medium confidence pick.
