After waiting until the 4th round to draft a wide receiver in this past draft, the Browns still have one of the worst receiving corps in the NFL. According to Head Coach Pat Shurmur, Greg Little and Mohamed Massaquoi are penciled in as starters as of right now, but he acknowledged that could change. The organization is very high on 4th round rookie Travis Benjamin and believe he could challenge Massaquoi opposite Little, as well as Josh Cribbs in the slot. Carlton Mitchell and undrafted rookie Josh Cooper are other players the organization really likes. It looks like it’s going to be a rough 1st year for Brandon Weeden finding open targets, even if Greg Little has a breakout year.

Well, glad they named Little and Massaquoi starters already, looks like things will stay the same. And now that the “Dropsey Twins” have been named starters I think its gonna get even worse for the Browns and fans like me. If they can’t catch passes from Colt Mccoy, how are they gonna catch the bullets Weeden throws? I can only hope Travis Benjamin has a rookie break-out year. Why haven’t they addressed the need for recievers? Josh Cribbs was their best last year, and they only played him sparingly. Now there are trade talks involving Cribbs next year, typical Browns management at work. Get a good or potentially good player, trade him, only to see him flourish somewhere else. Same old song and dance. This is one reason I feel the Browns are constantly finishing in last place.
