Lofa Tatupu was out of football last year, but was signed by the Falcons this offseason and is currently getting the 1st team reps in OTAs. Tatupu has a laundry list of injury problems, but he’s not yet 30 and he’s a 3 time Pro Bowler and currently healthy. The Falcons took a flier on him to replace Curtis Lofton and they are giving him every chance to prove he can still start in this league. If he can’t, 2011 3rd round pick Akeem Dent will be the starter.
